In Germany,several towns and villages were flooded after torrential rain and thunderstorms hit


Heavy rains triggered flash floods in parts of western and central Germany, killing at least 9 people and causing property damage and transport disruption. An emergency was declared in the region when heavy rains caused disruption in rail, road, and river transport. 

In the western part of Germany, many towns and villages were flooded after torrential rain and thunderstorms hit. Two firefighters died. In some areas, residents needed to be evacuated.

Heavy rains and floods lashing Germany have killed at least nine people and left around 50 missing, as rising waters led several houses to collapse, police say. Four of the people reported dead were in the municipality of Schuld where several houses were swept away. 

Fireman drowned and the army was deployed to help stranded residents on Wednesday after heavy rain triggered once-in-25-year floods in parts of western Germany, disrupting rail, road and river transport in Germany's most populous region. 

According to police at least 50 people missing after 6 houses collapsed due to Flooding and continuous rain.about 25 other houses also unstable and threatened to collapse.
