At least 500 shops gutted in a fire that broke out at FashionStreet market in Pune


A huge fire has broken out in the Fashion Street Market on Mahatma Gandhi Road in Pune. All the shops have been burnt down

Fashion Street is a market which has more than 500 stalls in it which are mainly of Clothes Shoes and Accessories all sticked to one another

All 500 shops gutted in a fire that broke out at FashionStreet market in Pune last night. Around 16 fire tenders deployed to extinguish the fire.

Around 16 firetenders and 2 watertankers are present here. At around 1:06 am, the fire was brought under control. Cooling operation on. 60 fire officials including 10 officers are at the spot Fire tenders rushed to the spot.Fire has been controlled. No casualty has been reported so far but heavy loss to the hawkers and shopowners as their shops were gutted in fire.
