New virus  with pandemic potential has been identified by INDIAN scientists IN ANDHRA PRADESH ELURU DISTRICT

Along with coronavirus A new strain of  flu with pandemic potential has been identified by indian scientists in ELURU district in andra pradesh state in India

The new strain is called H8 EA H1N1 and bears similarities to the 2009 swine flu - which originated in Mexico.It’s the latest health blow for INDIA after early signs of a second wave of coronavirus were detected.

A province near ELURU reported its largest outbreak in several DAYS with only 1118 new cases 

Researchers say it is currently carried by DRINK WATERS but shows all the hallmarks of spreading from human to human in the future.

As its a new virus, people could have little or no immunity to the virus.Pigs are considered as important hosts or mixing vessels for the generation of pandemic influenza viruses,” researchers wrote in a paper published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
