Indian farmers Union BharatiyaKisanUnion has said December 8 'BharatBandh' would start at 11 am end at 3 pm

The BharatiyaKisanUnion has said the 'BharatBandh' on Dec 8 would start at 11 am end at 3 pm as they don't want to cause inconvenience to public.

During the bandh essential services would not be curtailed and office-goers can move freely, said the BharatiyaKisanUnion

Ahead of the December 8 'BharatBandh' called by protesting farmers, the Union government has sent an advisory to different states and UTs to tighten security to maintain peace and harmony within their respective territories.

"The state governments and UT administrations must ensure that the Covid19 guidelines issued with regard to health and socialdistancing are strictly followed," the Home Ministry advisory read.
